Why Somatic Healing?
We tend to bounce between being in our head or being in our heart. Being logical or being emotional. We ping pong back and forth living like there is one right and one wrong. There is good and there is bad. There is what we like and what is good for us. But what if it could be both? That is the beauty of Somatic work. It rebuilds trust and when you trust in yourself, you find that perfect harmony between mind and body. From that balanced place, life becomes easy, beautiful, and abundant. So come join:)

Grounding
Utilizing modalities such as breath work, visualization, and safety statements, you safely arrive in your body. This is a tool to aid in positive, calm mood and lay the foundation for the deep work to be welcomed onto.

The Felt Sense
This is a concept coined by Eugene Gendlin where we trace a bodily sensation attached to a disturbing memory while staying grounded in the present moment. This allows for a fresh pair of eyes on an old situation. It allows for enough detachment from the emotion that this wounding can be healed.

Expression
We allow the body to lead in this technique as well. We trust the wounded part of us has the awareness to know how it wants to be expressed. We simply hold a sacred safe space for healthy expression of any and all emotions and tend to any physical expressions.

Repattern
In this final stage and technique, we uncover what new beliefs, patterns, and levels of conscious are now available. From this comes new possibilities and together, we will support healthy exploration of self, both with yourself and with others during this integration phase.

What to Expect
Together, we will cultivate a profound understanding of yourself, allowing your truest and highest self to shine with confidence. We do this by diving deep into who you are and how you learned to be. We will uncover the patterns, protectors, and limiting beliefs that currently guide your life but don't serve you. We will allow your body to drive the sessions and uncover yourself again.
Sessions are 75-90 minutes long and will start with guided breath work and somatic experiencing to start getting into our body and building the capacity to move through emotion and life experiences. When you are ready, we will dive into inner child and parts work to close any open loops in the form of energy blockages, rumination, or past traumas. As the loops are closed, we will see what new possibilities are uncovered and make an integration plan. I will be teaching you this method of healing along the way so when our time is complete, you will then be able to use these tools confidently on your own.
